The菜单 boasts an array of tempting options, with stalwarts like the truffle pasta taking center stage. Rich, flavorful, and reminiscent of Italy's best kitchens, this dish has earned accolades from diners like Allan Roberto Umale, who hails it as the very best. Pair it with the bacon truffle pizza, featuring a crisp thin crust, and you have a delightful dining experience that captivates the palate.
For those leaning toward heartier mains, the grilled pork chop delivers plenty of flavor and comes with a tantalizing side of garlic rice, making it an enjoyable and filling dish. Take a moment to relish the mushroom risotto, lauded for its perfectly balanced flavors that keep you engaged with every bite.
No meal at Mama Lou's would be complete without a taste of their indulgent desserts. The Scatto di Mango and Dolci Pistachio cakes are often described as the epitome of sweet satisfaction, leaving diners longing for more. If you're in the mood for something refreshing, their mango tea offers a vibrant yet subtly sweet accompaniment to your meal, although some prefer it with an extra splash of water for balance.
The alfresco dining option allows you to savor your meal while relishing the outdoors, adding to the charm of your culinary experience. However, it’s worth noting that while most reviews commend the service, a few experiences suggest some inconsistency. Nevertheless, the overall ambiance sets the stage for enjoyable gatherings with family and friends.

With its solid food offerings and dedicated service, this restaurant deserves a spot on your list for your next dining adventure. “ Servers were very accomodating and the food is cooked great. Our orders were served hot perfect for the rainy day. ”
“ After we watch the movie of Jurassic Park reborn we are starving so we decided to eat Italian food and the food never disappoint us the food was delicious except for the service really bad order our food my pasta is served fast but the order of my partner didn’t arrive tell 40min later. My pasta is not hot anymore waiting for my partner food so we eat together because as a filipino we love to eat together with family we wait. Then it take to long after 40 min i ask the waiter why my partner food is not yet served they say it’s not available we don’t know that’ if I didn’t ask so we order again. They don’t even check their costumer’s if how is food or check our table because I’m done eating and my kids so they supposed to take my plate so the table is clean as we wait for my partner food. Nobody checks the staff need to be more professional or like they should know about service especially it’s an Italian restaurant. I hope this get the attention of the owner so when we can back they have a better service. Ps: staff is like scared to ask order costumers how the owner gonna make money and the costumers comeback if the serve is not good. ”
“ First time in a while that I thoroughly enjoyed dining in a restaurant The place is bright and obviously clean. The staff, particularly Janine, was very attentive and courteous to us. She was patient with my questions and gave excellent alternatives for the food that wasn’t available at that time. The other staff members that served our food were also very kind. My companions and I shared a pizza, risotto, salad. And they individually had the french soup and the tuna salpicao. First of all, the service bread and pomodori dip is excellent! It was a delicious prelude to how much I would enjoy the rest of the dishes. We had the spinach pizza— excellent. Adding the alfalfa and honey sauce elevated the already delectable dish. For the salad— unfortunately it was our least favorite, as the dressing was too watery for our taste. But the veggies were fresh and chicken was soft and paired well with the salad. The mushroom risotto was my favorite. In the past, I’ve had risottos that got too redundant halfway through, but this one was good all throughout. I’m no expert with food, but I thought the dish was perfect. No notes. Basically, it made do a little happy dance because I enjoyed it so well. I only got to taste the onion soup and tuna salpicao. Even with small bites, they were tasty. Overall, my dining experience here was the best in a while. Great food, great staff, great place. I will definitely be coming back! ”
“ A Delightful Dining Experience at Mama Lou’s Vermosa Our visit to Mama Lou’s Vermosa was nothing short of excellent, made even more special by our wonderful server, Janine. Her sunny personality, politeness, and genuine attentiveness elevated our dining experience. She was not only friendly and considerate but also provided superb customer service that made us feel truly valued. As for the food—simply amazing! The truffle pasta was rich and flavorful, and the thin-crust pizza was just the way we like it: crisp, light, and oh-so-delicious. While the fried chicken was slightly overcooked, it remained crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries that came with it? Absolutely delicious! The mango tea was a tad sweet for our taste, but with a bit more ice and water, it became just perfect. To top it all off, the Scatto di Mango and Dolci Pistachio were among the best cakes we've ever had—pure indulgence and the perfect way to end our meal. A huge thank you to Janine for her exceptional service! If you're dining at Mama Lou’s Vermosa, we highly recommend asking for her—you’ll be in great hands. We’ll definitely be back for another round of delicious food and warm hospitality! Disclaimer: I’m not a professional food critic — just a passionate home cook and foodie who loves to eat, explore, and share honest experiences. I believe taste is deeply personal, so my reviews are simply based on my own (and my family’s) palate and preferences. What delights me might not be your cup of tea, and that’s totally okay! We all have different tastes, experiences, and expectations, so please don’t take my word for it — try it and see for yourself. Also, just to be clear: nothing here is sponsored — we paid for everything on our plates. ”
“ I'm giving it 5stars overall, for the food and ambiance. A good place for eating out with family or friends. But 3stars for service because it is inconsistent. Ate here thrice already, the 1st 2 were pleasant experiences, the last time meh--the restaurant wasn't fulll but it felt like they were understaffed. Food took a long time to get served and hard to call the staff's attention. Will still eat here though, because my son loves their Mozzarella Sticks and Fritto Misto is very good. Hopefully better service na. ”
“ It's been awhile since we last tried Mama Lou's so we decided to try this branch for our lunch. They have the best truffle pasta. We opted to sit alfresco this time as the day was so beautiful outside. For our appetizer we went with the smallest size bacon truffle pizza. For our mains we both went with the grilled porkchop where you can choose which side you want. Regular rice, garlic or mashed potatoes. We both got their garlic rice. For drinks i simply went with water but my wife got some coffee. We got our bacon truffle pizza first. It had a thin crust and it came with some herb condiments on the side. I wasn't sure what it was but it looked like baby bean sprouts. You can definitely taste the bacon in the pizza. The truffle taste was there but not as strong as their truffle pasta that I love. Next came the grilled porkchop. We didn't know it came with two pieces of porkchop. This was quite plentiful. The garlic rice was quite flavorful. It also came with crunchy veggies on the side with a touch of tomato sauce. The porkchop itself had a good charred flavor. It was tender and quite easy to cut with the provided steak knife. One thing though, i noticed the tenderness and juices of the two chops weren't the same. My first chop was more dry while the second was juicier. I know that this difference can be mere seconds when cooking or leaving it on the side while you cook the other chops. This dryness was easily remedied with the side sauce. It wasn't sour to my surprise, but more on the umami side and oily. Honestly, not the best grilled porkchop I've had but the fact they gave us two chops made it worthwhile. I just wish i had more of that tasty garlic rice. Service was OK. Not extraordinary but still complete. Despite us seating outside, the servers weren't that hard to call. Atmosphere wise, the vibe was really nice. Sitting alfresco let me enjoy my meal without the AC making it cold too quickly. But i gotta knock a point off. Some of the seats were already deteriorating. I'm not sure if it was due to the wear and tear of nature or maybe unruly customers. But it does make it feel like im eating in an old restaurant when i know this place is relatively new. Good to know that this place has really good mains when i recognize them more for their pasta. ”
